Service (CIRAS)
CIRAS staff provides educational seminars and individualized technical
assistance to Iowa manufacturers in the areas of engineering,
management practices, procurement, productivity and quality management.
- Iowa Manufacturing Technology Center (IMEP)
IMEP is a statewide network that provides technical and business
assistance to small- and mid-sized manufacturers. Account managers
throughout the state meet with clients to answer questions, identify
areas for improvement, and provide links to resources that companies
can use to increase their productivity and competitiveness.
- SCORE "Counselors to America's Small Business"
SCORE provides free advice on practically every aspect of business.

Small Business Development Center (SBDC)
The SBDC helps enterprising Iowans successfully manage or start a small business. The SBDC provides one-on-one counseling by qualified professionals, a variety of learning opportunities, including workshops, classes, on-line assistance and publications and other resources; and connections to other service providers, federal, state and local resources, sources of capital and similar assistance for small businesses.
Webster City Area Development can
assist you with regulatory and permitting issues. We work closely
with the state and local regulatory agencies of government including
the Iowa
Department of Economic Development's Business/Regulatory Assistance
Team.
Iowa State University
Iowa State University of Science and Technology, founded in 1858,
is a land grant Carnegie Foundation Research Institution. Historically,
