Bonebright Depot Complex

Six historic buildings make up the complex which includes the first Hamilton County Courthouse, the second Illinois Central Railroad Depot, the Jamison Log Cabin, the Brewer Cabin, Mulberry Center church, and Harmony Schoolhouse.

Dragoon Trail
Scenic road route following the Des Moines River marks the trail used by Dragoons, a lightly armed group of Calvary soldiers who explored the topography of the Des Moines River in the 1830's.

Every July the fairground is home to the excitement of the Hamilton County Fair. During the summer weekly stock car racing is held at the Hamilton County Speedway on Saturday night.

Raspberry Festival

The annual community festival held at 7B Ranch in Webster City features a pancake breakfast in the morning, amusements, stage entertainment, canoe rides, nature walks, and one of the best fireworks display in the state of Iowa.

Seven B Ranch

The privately owned ranch offers a variety of recreational opportunities for residents and visitors. The 70 acre ranch includes a restored barn, seven lakes, a horse pasture, petting zoo, canoeing, and beautiful flower and vegetable gardens, all combining with the natural beauty and wildlife of the area. 7B Ranch is open to the public every Tuesday or you may make an appointment to visit by contacting Nancy Hensley at (515) 832-5481.

1 Kendall Young Park

Kendall Young Park is a beautiful scenic area located by the Boone River. The park has 4 shelter houses, 6 picnic areas, 1 ball diamond, 2 shuffle board courts, 1 volleyball court, a horseshoe pit, playground equipment, walking trail, and fishing area.

2 Twin Parks

West Twin Park has a shelter house with outlets and several picnic tables, along with a bandshell equipped with outlets, 4 picnic tables, and a modern playground. East Twin Park offers a sun shelter with an outlet and 3 picnic tables. The park has a large play area with 4 tennis courts.

3. Nokomis Park

The park has a Shelter house, playground, and canoe access.

4. Middleton Sports Complex

This complex has 2 softball fields and is home to the newly designed ice rink.

5. Lions Park

This park includes a playground area, picnic area, and one basketball court.

6. Riverside Park Campground

Located just off East 2nd Street, the park accommodates campers with indoor restrooms, showers, electrical hook-ups, dumping station, canoe access and playground equipment. Camping is available on a first come first serve basis.

7. Brewer Creek Park

Open year round! This shelter-house with outlets and several picnic tables sits aside scenic Brewer Creek. Brewer Creek is home to a fitness/nature trail, volleyball court, and a nine-hole Frisbee golf course.

8. Sketchly Park

This park includes a picnic and playground area.

9. E.V. Wehrheim Park

A neighborhood park that includes a shelter and modern playground.

10. Boone River Recreational Trail
Enjoy a 1.95 mile 10 feet wide concrete trail along the scenic Boone River. This trail was created in 1998 and is designed to offer a variety of recreational options; walking, running, bicycling, or roller bladeing.

11 . Briggs Woods Park

Beautiful Briggs Woods Park boasts numerous walking and hiking trails throughout the rugged timber and prairie remnants in the park. There are three outdoor shelters for an outdoor gathering and 81 sites available for camping.

Fuller Hall Recreation Center

The newly renovated Fuller Hall boasts a new 25 meter swimming pool, a new fitness room, game room, television lounge, locker rooms, multi-purpose guy, two racquetball courts, and conference room.
